Excel Activities

The use of Word Processing and Spreadsheet software is just as important as using technological devices and other handheld tools.  In the example listed below, the challenge was to create a game that was both attractive and would benefit the students' curiosity about spreadsheet software (or in this case Excel).  Following the directions verbatim, I was able not only to create the game itself, but to create a spinner using what is called a Macro.  This assignment was not too difficult...but it was not easy either.  For more information or directions about this and other exciting spreadsheet games, please refer to these texts by Tammy Worcester:  50 Quick and Easy Computer Activities for Kids50 Quick & Easy Math Computer Activities for Kids.
