Article Review

The need for technology in the classroom is very necessary, but the finding the funding for the need continues to be a hotbutton question for discussion.  How can schools and Districts provide the needed funding for computers when the budget for basic items such as paper, pencils, and notebooks is minimal at best?  Many proponents of technology (PDAs for example; please read the link listed below) argue that the use, knowledge, and overall benefits of technology outweigh the cost of implementing tech programs, and sooner or later are cheaper alternatives to buy paper, pencils, and notebooks.  What do you think?  Please contact me to express your opinions and concerns:  consuelo.jones09@albright.edu.
